Ok ... about the crowded servers ... and gold bots ... and some very simple math.

On Olympus many level 64 Sosun gears or weapons cost about 500 million gold. How long does it take a gold bot to gather 500 million gold?

With an estimate of 300 gold per kill and 4 kills per minute, one gold bot can gather 72k gold in one hour. It takes slightly over 6944 hours for one gold bot to gather enough gold for a 64 sosun.

Of course having one gold bot work for 6944 hours isn't fast enough ... it is much better to have 3472 bots working for two hours instead. However please remember there are only 5000 spots on each server. And lots of people want to buy gold for sosun ... and for other equipment also.

It really doesn't take many people buying gold at all to screw up the whole server for everyone ...

you forgot the fact that botters can also find equipment drops, alchemy drops, and possible sos drops
so instead of 6944 hrs, lets put it at 3000 hrs

I would say less, example: bunwang bot kill 1 shot, item drop are around 60-100k. wind 2 drop and sos item sell for 20kk+

i rather be a player bot then be a gold buyer who hand grind those are hypocritical if you ask me (the one that want legit unions/guilds or hate player bots)
no gold buyers is the end of the player bots and the end of server problems.

Yes the exact numbers may be off ... yes some higher level bots will make more ... lower level ones less. Sosun gears may be more or less on your server. But you can see where the real problem is.

The real problem is with the people that buy the gold.

the most annoying thing i experienced on RedSea is that those who claim to be legit 99% of them did buy gold or to be even more annoying creating so called 100% legit guilds and union, i usually choose just to deny them while they were whining on globals about bots.

Why do people insist on distinquishing between rights and wrongs and voicing opinions that 1 wrong is the real wrong or the more wrong?

The SRO ToS, even if rarely enforced, states what is wrong.

It does not say, using a third party program is wrong and illegal BUT gold buying is MORE illegal.

Honestly I can't do anything if people want to bot or to buy gold from gold selling services. But I can point out the impact that doing such things has on the other people playing the game.

People complain over and over about the crowded servers and the fact that these very same crowded servers are "dead". If these same people buy gold ... then they are hypocrites. Part of playing an MMORPG is that your actions have an effect on other people and this is the effect that buying gold has on a server.

Is the chance to easily have an awesome set of gear or a very shiny weapon worth ruining the server for everyone else? That is what people have to decide.

Wow lol it's like 999m+ for any Sosun polearm or spear on Venice.

All that means is that even more bots would be needed on Venice.

... and given the amount of hours gold botters are on, who do you think gets most of the SoX drops? ... hummm ... and who do you think drives up the price of SoX items? ... hummm ...

... think about it ... how many SoX (especially SoSun) items does a legit player get? ... if they got ZERO (quite likely), how many of them could have 750M+ gold without BUYING gold? ...

There's a guild on Troy i was in a while back that pretty much
all buys gold and they kicked someone for botting...

well my friend just recently told me he started to buy gold from supgold.
I didnt bother much, told him i wouldnt care cause even tho im often short on my money im smart enough to make my money without hacking or scamming others.

He told me they make 200m per 6 hours... jeez how many gold bots are they popping out to do that? it takes them like 15 hrs (half a day if u see it as 24/7) to make 500m... thats so crazy... almost makes me wanna have my own gold bots but i wont go into that anymore.

I wonder how many botters actually have their own gold bots woulda be interesting to know lol

JM needs to create a bot thts relays information to the server. They should have it where it will ban you 10 days after the initial useage so when word leaks out about a new bot and many people try it. Instant ban, and no excuses..

They did this on DIablo 2:LOD and that decreased the amount of botters for at least 6-12 months. After that, they made more "ban bots" to decrease the amount.
