So I bought myself a Sega megadrive 2 last week

I used to have one when I was a kid but sold it when the playstation came out to buy one of those.

So after more than ten years of not playing sega, I bought one again!

Im trying to get my collection complete again, remember games like Sonic, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, the revenge of Shinobi, Comix Zone, Flashback and more?

now thàt were games, pure gameplay!

Anyone else a megadrive / genesis veteran?

lol I liked those games, my fav sega game though was Altered Beast lol, I loved that~

I just use the roms now though.

i just played nintendo. I loved that game when you were shooting ducks on the screen with a REAL GUN!

I had one! NES and SNES were my favorite but I really liked the SEGA too. But it got destroyed by my cousins.

Could I borrow yours and dwell in nostalgia?

and sonic is just awesome

too bad sega kept making sonic games after they almost went bankrupt, the new ones arnt that cool.

oh lol battle toads I forgot that one also

I remember playing that game for the first time and I was all like 'wtf O_o', lol

edit: I have 2 controllers, come play some golden axe multiplayer some time

It was my favorite game for the Sega! :love:

I did play Phantasy Star on it, but I can't remember too much of it, I liked Sonic and Ecco the most and the rest is all (S)NES story.

Golden Axe and Streets of Rage 1 & 2

I used to have the really big one, it rocked. You have to get Golden Axe, Sonic and Knuckes, and Streets of Rage.

Oh you had the one with the sega cd and master system addon?

I bought Sonic 1 and 2 this week, and in a few days Ill have the 3in1 cassette with revenge of shinobi, streets of rage and golden axe

Best games ever.

i enjoyed ecco

there was this one game i played with my dad all the time but i dont remember the name

you was a knight and you go through this castle fighting blobs etc.

like 20+ lvls im not too sure but my dad would always let me fight the bad guy at teh end and watch him grow wings and fly off the top
was so cool
