Photoshop CS2, gives me a lot of bugs though, cant tell if it's just a bad version or not.
I hear a lot good about Gimp, I might try that out sometime soon.

I regularly use Gimp for any image that I have to work with, mainly 'cause:
- when 'im not playing, I'm on Linux.
- Gimp is Lightweight compared to Photoshop.
Tainted:
Whoa! Blender, I've never seen some1 esle using that.

I used GIMP a little but it wasn't working out. Generally on a PC I get by with Paint, on a Mac I use GraphicConverter USX which is free and does what I need.

hey tainted, get rid of blender and get Zbrush 2.... heck ... if it werent for the animation capacity of the program id say get rid of 3ds as well, zbrush pwns them both for modelling, and is SO much easier.
PM me if interested to knw more. xD

Well I use Gimp.. Free and works like PS in a way.. like someone said it is light weight. Let's keep information regarding that option null here please. We do not condone/support it, and we won't be having that fun invade the forums, thankee.
Consider this part of the post SMISHED!

You cant see any art programs in tainted's image?
Blender,
Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Illustrator,
Adobe ImageReady,
3DS max 7.
Are those not artprograms?
Anyway, I use.. MSPaint, Adobe photoshop/imageready, Macromedia Fireworks, Macromedia Flash..
most of them with a shitload of plugins I never use, or never really needed in the first place..

I just found a really nice program called Paint.NET which is free and much better than GIMP in my opinion. Interface to me was very intuitive, the magic wand tool works well, and layers are easily managed. For those who aren't cool with paying for Photoshop (or pirating it).

CS2 is perfect for anything where you are not creating anything new or modeling. The only problem is its difficulty to use all the tools. Most new users end up making something they could have done in paint. It was made for proffesionals after all.
modeling is better in maya or 3dsmax

I have only ever deleted one post. I have closed many threads about selling gold, hacks, scams, cheats, etc.
I edited two sections of this thread because our forums do not support what was listed there.
I have not done something, another mod would have done.
