maximum degree on weapon (pictures please)

well im making (and dont say its not worth it or anything, im not paying, a friend is funding it

).
anyway, im trying to max out my snake spear, and i want to know the maximum degree on spear you can get, and what it looks like.

so far, its +3 and it pulses, so im happy

, so i want to see when its maxed.

also, i know to add immortal and whatever to stop it being destroyed

ok. you mixing things up a bit. degree is the degree of a weapon as in first
degree (weapons starting from lvl 1), second degree (weapons starting from
lvl 8), etc. what you mean is the enchantment or "+" of the weapon.

you have it on +3 which is a nice white glow. on +5 you will get a purple
glow. on +7 you will get a gold glow and on +9 a blue-ish glow if im right.

the higher you + your weapon, the more chance it fails (its always a low
chance but imo its harder to get it above +3 than to get it to +3). the max
enchantment i think is +244, but nobody is nuts enough to try it. highest
i have seen is +9.

if you go over +4, it is said you have a chance your item will be destroyed.
to prevent this, you should add immortal to it.
if you go over +4, you can get a durability reducement. add steady to
prevent this.
to keep it from going to +0, you can add astrals to your weapon from +4
and further. astrals you can buy with real money from item mall and will
keep your weapon on +4 minimum.

im not sure if there is a max but most ppl rarely get it over 9
id stop at +6 or it will get frustrating

and check the market place sticky on "what is this item worth" they have high
+ items on there too.

is going from +3 to +4 safe? or will i need astral

As far as i know, astral can only be added if the item is already +4 or more...

It can be added before, but it won't take effect unless it's +4 or more.
You need immortal to add astral.
Supposedly the highest + is +255, not +244.
Highest I've seen is +13, and this was achieved before the alchemy update.
Some guy has a +11 seal of sun lv 52 blade.

Dont mess with it. Weapon elixir is worth more than your weapon.
