Have yet to see a PC that runs Mac OS.
So... You got it backwards? High five.

It's all about what you're trying to do. Just like the INT vs. STR argument. The least obnoxious people are those who use both—it's an OPERATING SYSTEM, nothing more, nothing less. Neither one is going to get you laid so this argument is moot.

Ok, so PC's can't run the Mac's OS. Big whoop, there's plenty of Mac programs for PC. Quicktime and iTunes anyone? I stand by what I said before.

Apple is actually better than windows, but more programs are made to run on windows than mac, thus everyone uses windows.

If windows shut down globally for like 2 months or so though, then programs started to be made for mac, then nobody would buy a windows again.

The point is that once you can run Windows you can run Windows programs. Where's your "much much more" now? Show me what you can do on a Windows PC that I can't do on a Mac dual-booting OS X and Windows. Name one thing anyone gives a shit about.

But answer me this: Why would a Mac owner want to run Windows? It couldn't be because Windows is superior, oh no...

Nobody in this thread has denied that there's a much greater range of software that runs on Windows compared to Mac OS. That doesn't mean the operating system itself is superior. And given the choice of a machine that runs both or a machine that only runs one, assuming money's not an issue (because a Mac costs more, period), why exactly do I want the latter?

Windows fanboys are a peculiar breed. They bitch and moan about M$ this and that until someone who has ever used a Mac and not hated it comes along; then they band together and chant their mantra of software compatibility until the bad man goes away. Then they go back to bitching about how much Vista sucks.

Who's a fanboy? lol YOU were the one that came here and started bitching about my claims. Don't know about you, but Windows and OS aside, I'd much rather have a machine that has far superior performance and can run 99% of the programs on the market and for a marginally cheaper price. And that machine is usually a PC running Windows. Whether Windows is good in your eyes or not doesn't matter to me either way. I've been using it for years and never felt the urge to drop it (and all the perks that come with it) and use a Mac and it's OS X. And I have used it before.

The old cop-out, although it still remains semi-valid.

Anyway, yeah, I would have to admit they are about equal now. With Macs you pay a premium for a flashy appearance and access to some certain killer apps for media creation.

The only thing I can really hate Apple for is their snobby "holier than thou" advertising.
