I run SRO, and I get this error:

I click "OK":

Then "OK":

Another "OK". Then this ominous looking message pops up. I click the first "?" then it's just gone.

I do the same thing again, with the same dreaded results, and click the other "?". It still doesn't work. :S

I have an ATi X1600 Pro PCI-e with CATALYST® Control Center Version 1.2.2217.17271 I also have DirectX 9

Help, anyone? :?

Try uninstalling your graphics driver entirely, then download the latest version of ati (w/o catalyst) Or just install w/o catalyst. And try it then.

If your motherboard has an integrated gfx chipset, try using that first, I believe you could change the setting at BIOS, changing it to on-board VGA. If it does work with your motherboard gfx, then it's your normal video card's driver's problem, from then on you could either try deleting and downloading the latest device driver, or try to manage with the motherboard gfx chipset until you get help.
