oh yeah and good news for isro players, csro has european version and it is version 1.101 and we have version 1.098. only 3 more updates and we have europe!!! hell yeah!, but i knda miss the servers always being on populated! lol ok please help
3 more updates? you mean 3 more real patches.. usually a patch is some cruddy data backup or more F***'ing of the swear filter..
and SERIOUSLY EASE ON THE CAPS.
The caps lock key is right beside the E key, press it and you wont be asking for banhamma (I think)
Anyway what did you do?
Did you replace cos\c_horseX.bsr with mob\oasis\uruchidragon.bsr?
Then did you find a way to make space without damaging the file, such as the Euro Merc trick? (If you didnt do that then its obvious) then did you add null bytes to preserve the original size so that results will actually work?
ok, wtf? what the hell are null bytes and the euro merc trick? omg can u give me step by step?
holy SHIT...
Ill make a little tut but im not gonna guarantee it will work because I already quit so I havent modded in a long time -.-
1. Open XVI32, and click search then find
Thats the code your gonna look for, in my case it will be cos\c_horse1.bsr, for the first horse.
2.Now that you found the code, open up HexEdit121 and open up the clean Media.pk2 and write down the amount of bytes there is on it.
of course that may be the wroung amount of bytes on the current SRO but I dont care, just find the amount of bytes there.
3.Now you replace cos\c_horseX.bsr (my case is X=1) with a code for something that can actually lift you, in this case you want Uruchi's dragon.
mob\oasis\uruchidragon.bsr, go to search, replace, type in the first box cos\c_horse1.bsr and in the other type mob\oasis\uruchidragon.bsr, like this. (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE DEFAULT BYTES WRITTEN)
4.Now save and close XVI32, and look in your edited Media.pk2 in HexEdit121, you should have more bytes than normal, this is where lots of people screw up and I dont want you to ok?
5.When your done comparing the bytes, write down your new byte value, next re-open XVI32 and open your edited Media.pk2
6.Look for cos\guild_eu_soldier9_scroll.ddj and you will find ALOT of entries, these are high lvl euro merc ddj's simply go replace one with cos\cos_c_horse1.ddj to make some space, and keep looking in HexEdit121 and copy down the bytes you have made until you get less default bytes or right at the default, if your at less then...
7. Go to the bottom of HexEdit121 and begin adding 00's (PAY ATTENTION TO THE BYTES) The 00's mean theyre null, null bytes

when the file size is the same, save and test.
