Ok so we all know what this is and people are saying taht this is happening. Im staring ot belive this because i have seen 5 new commercial's about it.
All i wanna know is why is it happening what is causing it and what does it do?.

Will we all really die if it happen's?

It is all the greenhouse gasses that are causing it and is traping in the heat waves in the earth's atmosphere making it hotter. People driving around cars thatt arn't fuel efficent affect it a lot. And eventually I think we all could die from it if we don't do something but that would be if we continued what we are doing for like 100 more years but hopefully things will be changing with all the attention it is getting

Yup I think a full tank of gas produces 300 pounds of Co2 or whatever gas it makes when it's burned. I think that we should have some new source of energy. I remember we used to use nuclear energy until that one meltdown incident at 3 mile island.

Actually global warming is happening, it always will be. The reasons people can debate on, the world is on a constant change and global warming is part of it all. Yeah the earth is warming up anyone who says it isnt is ignorant. Whats causing it is usually the issue that people argue about

even so the blog you provided can be a disputable source:

1. The writer of the blog "James Boyce is a blogger, t.v. analyst and radio show host". Which proves he can have disputable insight in the subject of conservation.

2. Lack of Evidence, not enough evidence is put forward to support his claim of 70% of the oxygen of the world come from our oceans. The article by Sylvia Earle did not provide enough detail other than repeat that, neither did the other 3 sources have enough detail and evidence.

So to conclude the source you provided is just people claiming something without evidence. Therefore it cannot justify anything other than the opinions of those individuals.

However, if the other side of this argument provides no evidence it is quite pointless to argue even if your source is unreliable. Yet, the majority of researchers and scientists says and have proved that Photosynthesis from forests are the major source of our oxygen.

Anyways this getting bit off topic.

It has been proven time and time again, that the Earth has a natural warming and cooling cycle
The way it is going right now we can drop into and ice age anywhere from 20-200 years from now

that was the funniest skool movie i have ever seen in my life.....

i agree Global Warming is happening but it isnt a huge issue at all....there are more important issues out there that money should be spent on that is actually a huge issue like Cancer. Global Warming is going to happen and there is nothing we can do about it. It isnt that big of a deal.

Last week the Washington Post interviewed a 9-year-old who said the Earth is "just starting to fade away." In 20 years there will be "no oxygen" he said, and he'll be dead. The Post went on to say that "for many children and young adults, global warming is…defining their generation." How sad.

But is the global warming crisis a myth? Read on.

MYTH: Global warming will cause huge disruptions in climate, more storms, and the coasts will flood! America must sign the Kyoto Treaty!

This has to be broken into four pieces.

MYTH No. 1: The Earth is warming!

TRUTH: The Earth is warming. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said the global average surface temperature increased about 0.6 degrees Celsius over the 20th century.

MYTH No. 2: The Earth is warming because of us!

TRUTH: Maybe. The frantic media suggest it's all about us. But the IPCC only said it is likely that we have increased the warming.

Our climate has always undergone changes. Greenland was named Greenland because its coasts used to be very green. It's presumptuous to think humans' impact matters so much in comparison to the frightening geologic history of the earth. And who is to say that last year's temperature is the perfect optimum? Warmer may be better! More people die in cold waves than heat waves.

MYTH No. 3: There will be storms, flooded coasts and huge disruptions in climate!

TRUTH: There are always storms and floods. Will there be much bigger disruptions in climate? Probably not.

Schoolchildren I've interviewed were convinced that America is "dying" in a sea of pollution and that "cities will soon be under water!"

Lawyers from the Natural Resources Defense Council (another environmental group with more lawyers than scientists) warn that "sea levels will rise, flooding coastal areas. Heat waves will be more frequent and more intense. Droughts and wildfires will occur more often."

Wow.

But many scientists laugh at the panic.

Dr. John Christy, professor of Atmospheric Science at the University of Alabama at Huntsville said: "I remember as a college student at the first Earth Day being told it was a certainty that by the year 2000, the world would be starving and out of energy. Such doomsday prophecies grabbed headlines, but have proven to be completely false." "Similar pronouncements today about catastrophes due to human-induced climate change," he continued, "sound all too familiar and all too exaggerated to me as someone who actually produces and analyzes climate information."

The media, of course, like the exaggerated claims. Most are based on computer models that purport to predict future climates. But computer models are lousy at predicting climate because water vapor and cloud effects cause changes that computers fail to predict. In the mid-1970s, computer models told us we should prepare for global cooling.

Scientists tell reporters that computer models should "be viewed with great skepticism." Well, why aren't they?

The fundamentalist doom mongers also ignore scientists who say the effects of global warming may be benign. Harvard astrophysicist Sallie Baliunas said added CO2 in the atmosphere may actually benefit the world because more CO2 helps plants grow. Warmer winters would give farmers a longer harvest season, and might end the droughts in the Sahara Desert.

Why don't we hear about this part of the global warming argument? "It's the money!" said Dr. Baliunas. "Twenty-five billion dollars in government funding has been spent since 1990 to research global warming. If scientists and researchers were coming out releasing reports that global warming has little to do with man, and most to do with just how the planet works, there wouldn't be as much money to study it."

MYTH No. 4: Signing the Kyoto Treaty would stop the warming.

TRUTH: Hardly.

In 1997, the United Nations met in Kyoto, Japan, and asked the developed nations of the world to cut CO2 emission to below 1990 levels.

I would like to point something out

ALL of the media is democratic except for the Bill O'Reilly show
and
ALL of the democrats are pushing this global warming thing much too far
obviously your political views are well stated (much to the dismay of many)
but you must stop and take a look at all of the facts

yes it is getting warmer, yes the polar ice caps are melting, but this is all a NATURAL cycle
There is reason for alarm regarding our gas emissions, and the first way is to drastically cut down the world population (as Hitler-ish as it sounds)
One of the reasons we give off so many green house gasses is the enormous amount of livestock our world needs
Cows make up 90% of the worlds methane release, and chickens make up another 5%
The reason for so much livestock is our gluttonous society that we live in

As I have stated before, and I will time and time again until our world stops foolishly falling prey to propaganda this is a natural cycle of the Earth, and there is truly not much we can do.
