actually, lets rephrase that... anyone still living with their parents is not an adult. i dont care if you are 39.

don't agree there, there are people who buy a house then get their parents to move in with them because they are their parents. This is not just one o two people but rather quite a bit of the population

ok, how about this... anyone living in their parent's house. lol.

Oh yeah of course, you're nothing if you don't have your own place.
I better note that before I forget about it and grow an ego.

IMHO, it's maturity that defines whether you're a socalled 'kid'.

i don't care what a dictionary says, no book can tell me what I want to say. Language is made to communicate. If i say "that's some crap" it don't mean that thing is actually crap literally. so to me a "kid" is an immature person.
some of these younger people have more maturity than some people here in these forums but all that aside, i don't care. Opinions run the world and when opinions clash... it's not a pretty sight.

idk, age is essential (as has been mentioned by masta and draquish). Also, actual life experience makes you mature. Having endured all of the harsh moments and feeling how it is to be on your own, with no help from others makes you mature. As long as you are dependeant of someone to maintain you, cannot make a living of yourself, you are a child. No matter what your age is. This narrows up the "mature" category to very few, however.

I think its a mixture of both. I think you can find people that are very mature for their age, but age still has a lot to do with it.

It seems to me that you exchange innocence for maturity, and since the younger you are, generally, the more innocent you are, younger people are gennerally less matuity.

You guys do know that theres a symtom/disease/effect (w.e you want to call it) that makes you act immature, even though your like 30, right?
