Hi,

I'm making a warlock, and, after reading some topics on this forum, I saw the idea of a warlock/cleric...

So, I've got a few (2 in fact) questions about the cleric skills.

1) What cleric skills (buffs in particular) stay when you switch your weapon?

2) When you have casted bind on a person, can you still attack this person without bind disappearing?

I like the idea of a warlock, and it does really well in pvp (kills people 5 lvls higher).
I would really like to know these things as I think the skills of a warlock and a cleric can work really well together, like healing when somebody is sleeping or binding him and casting forsight etc.

Thx in advance and with kind regards,

Boogyman

1. "Used Item" only - buff still work even though you do switching weapons.
"Required Item" and "Used Item" - buff will gone once you do switching.

2. Not sure.

P/S: Try do seaching. There are few similar topics regarding this.

None of the Cleric buffs stay when you switch to another weapon , I thought there's only one skill , which I mostly use, it's the Body Blessing Skill , you get it at like 25+ , Don't know sure.

It puts shields on you , increasing alot of phy and mag defence, then as I do switch back to wiz and kill the mobs.

If you bind on a person , and it succeeded (so you won't see the text Resist above him) the character will stand there , and cannot move for several seconds.

You can of course attack him when he's binded

Just one reminder, the cleric buff Bless Spell (that +def buff) will have cooldown time, so don't expect too much abt it. IMO, you need do switching more often than your leveling for this def buff, cos it only last for 45 secs + cooldown.

In my opinion, Warlock/Bard works better. You have Mana Cycle, which allows you to keep regenerating MP over 16 seconds. This lets to switch back to Warlock and do whatever you want. You get a speed boost, so you can get away from monsters and let your damage over time skills take effect without having to worry about getting killed. You get Noise, which makes all aggressive general monsters avoid you.

Then again, it's easier to switch between Cleric and Warlock. You only have to change your rod.

I have a Cleric/Bard and a Rogue/Bard. So far, it seems that Cleric is better suited as a sub for Strength classes and Bard is better suited as a sub for Magic classes. However, there are still up sides to picking Cleric for a Magic class and Bard for a Strength class.

Yeap. I would say that since warlock wear garment (by default) they better off need some good protection in terms of protecting them from aggro mob, so Noise from bard plays the part. Noise + Stun + DoT = good solo.
