My computer is kinda strange, one day, it just stopped playing video, and instead only played the audio of the video.

This is strange, because my computer sometimes will play the video of certain avi flies, generally the ones I create myself, but others will only play the audio. How can I fix this? What's with my computer?

Thanks.

Windows media player is auto opener for avi files, I'm downloading the newest version, that might help... Until further notice though.

Have those files that stopped working work before?

I'll be dumb enough to assume yes, and then try a different player? To see if its MP's fault or the video's fault?

Basically contains 99.99% of all the codecs you will ever need.

Try the VLC media player also
