i was wondering if these would be bad/good/ great stats for an archer, i would have (EDIT)10,706 of HP and 10,085 MP at level 80
i would have a 76: 60 balance

help would be appreciated. unfortunately i dont know what a good build is for a bow. ive always been the Pure Str kind of guy so if anyone could help me that would be great.

uhh ok? im not asking for a bow build guide, ive already read that thread. im simply asking if the stats i posted would be good at lvl 80.

Make it your naked balance as 70:70 then how you raise it with your blues item, it's up to you.

For bow, it's either pure str or 70:70 hybrid.

It will be a fine balance as long as you relize what you will might have to sacrifice.

What I mean is, if you are a pure str bow and get the majority of your damage from physical the fire tree with its passive and buff will make you the strongest hitting str character. The lightning buff won't make much difference, hence making it less necessary.

Since I am a int hybrid bow I will be maxing lightning and sacrificing my fire tree.

I would think it would be a harder decision if they are equally important to you.

Also.. I believe you can effectively use 35% mana shield, but not more.

You are lucky, you can just ask tomiotar who is a 1:1 build.

so pure str or a 70:70 build is the only good build for an archer?

I just said without so many words that any balance between 70:70 and pure strength will work. It has been proven if you look closely.

There are guides for pure str and str hybrid. Tomiotar is 80cap with similar balances to you and does just fine. And just recently UnDutchable posted videos of his pure str bow and 70:70 bow at cap in pvp and they both work. He seems to like them both.

What I was trying to say earlier is that hybrids have to pay more attention to there force trees than a pure. They generally need to be fully farmed to perform.

at the level 80 cap 1:1 bow isn't a big problem imo...you can max fire/ligtning/pacheon and just bring your ice to lv 50 or something (don't know exactly) to use the 35% mana shield

however at the level 90 cap, you CAN'T max anymore ligtning/fire/pacheon if you want a 35% mana shield, so you will have to pay damage for defence...becease you can't max fire/ligtning (considering you want to max pacheon) you will have a significant damage decrease from either physical damage or magical damage

int hybrid bow (70:70) won't have a significant damage decrease since most of your damage comes from int (ligtning is boosting your magical damage by a lot!!!) and a str hybrid bow can only use something like 24% mana shield or something, so they only need like lv 30-34 ice...

saying that a 1:1 bow build doesn't need a high mana shield is useless!
with just 20% you would tank alot less then a 70:70 WITH mana shield, so you would have LESS damage and LESS defence then a int hyrbid -_-
(int hybrid can drop fire without having enourmes damage decreases)
