Hmm solo? DoT skills are good at solo when you want to have bit-by-bit damage. Well basically you should max all skills.

Daze
Slumber
Vampire touch
shadow armor... be careful around mob groups
Blood flower
DOTs are ok

.... Join a party... it's better
