Sp, or Skill Points are needed to learn skills for your char. When you kill a creature, you get Exp and Sp Exp.

400 Sp Exp = 1 Skill point.

For example:
Image
the sp here is 1295 points (from 518000 sp exp)

Sp farming is what players do to maximize the amount of Skill points they gain when killing a creature. You can do this by making a level gap.

Level gap = Your charachter level - your highest mastery level.

For example if your character was level 16, and the highest mastery is pacheon (bow weapon skill tree) was level 7, then your charachter has a:

Level gap = lvl 16 - lvl 7 = 9 gap

The larger the level gap, the more Sp exp you gain (thus more Sp) when you kill a creature.

There are various ways you can create a gap, and doest necessarily require a lot of gold.

For a detailed sp farming guide (at bandit stronghold at lvl 16), and what are the advantages of doing so you can click here.

You dont have to farm all your Sp at level 16, you can also just level up your charachter normally, but keep a level gap of 1 or 2 or 3 etc, thus accummulating extra Sp (at the cost of slightly slowed character leveling speed) although this is not usually efficient. Whichever method you choose is up to you.

Hope that helps

Ahah! This changes everything :)

The guide was for a chinese char.

No. 11/22 mastery total means you used 11 masteries out of a possible 22 max (the max mastery limit will increase as you level up). This is a feature of the euro chars.

Level gap means the difference between your char level, and your highest mastery level (as I posted above). In your case, your mastery level would be your cleric class level.

Euro cleric cannot use a bow (sorry for the confusion, the guide was meant for a chinese char). You can still sp farm, but if you only level cleric skills, theres less of a need to farm. Euro chars dont really need to farm if you take only skills that you really need. You can still farm however if you decide to take a second mastery class eg cleric / bard.

Caution when doing a level gap with euro chars. Euro equips are class mastery dependent. What this means is that your equipment can only be used if you achieve the required class mastery level (different to your charachter level). So you could be a level 16 char with level 11 cleric mastery, but you could only use up to level 11 equips (and not level 16).

Being euro, it is optimal for you to fight in a share exp party. Also, being a cleric, you will be doing the healing and buffing rather than damaging creatures, so make sure you join an item share party as well (as you wont get drops if you dont damage creatures, so item share will at least earn you gold and item drops).

Where to do it? Depends on your party. If you have to go solo, then kill creatures that you can kill fast enough.
