AFAIK this is right but I don't know for sure about Grüße(n) & freundliche(r). As I'm not German but people say I speak it very well so.
gewesen = been
gegessen = eaten
But ask someone else for sure :>

Hmm but you can't ask anymore to teachers/friends/parents/family? or aren't they either good in German? I always got mine dad if I don't know things and he helps me always with writing letters :)

Haha man you cracked me up :D

Ok, my version (native speaker) ... I tried not to go too far from your version. Comments in [ ]

===

Lieber Onkel, liebe Tante, [you normally separate that if it shall be a letter-like writing]
Ich war mit meinen Freunden in Berlin.
Ich habe das Brandenburger Tor gesehen.
Ich habe den Reichstag besucht. [You could write "Ich war im Reichstag", but this one if more formal]
Im Restaurant auf dem Fernsehturm haben wir (zu Mittag) gegessen. [It would be interesting what kind of meal, normally you add that ... like breakfast, lunch etc. ... or the specific food like ice... so you could add a "zu Mittag" (= lunch)]
Außerdem sind wir auf dem Wannsee Kanu gefahren. [I made the "und" a "außerdem" since you normally don't start sentences with "und"; "außerdem" = furthermore]

Mit freundlichen Grüßen, (euer) Dani ["Euer" is like "your" referring to both of your relatives, optional]

===

Ok I hope I helped you with that. What I would like to know is for how long you learn German now. If you have any questions about words or expressions (in case you are asked why you chose them, feel free to ask).

Regards.

Edit: Added a translation of the text for people who are interested in what this is all about ;D

~~~
Dear uncle and aunt,
I've been to Berlin with my friends.
I've seen the "Brandenburger Tor". (=> google it, sight-seeing, history etc.)
I've visited the "Reichstag" / I've been to the "Reichstag". (=> another town's landmark)
In the restaurant in the "Fernsehturm" we had lunch / we ate. (=> mhh, a "TV tower", but that building is usually called like this)
Furthermore we canoed on the "Wannsee". (=> a big lake by Berlin)
Yours sincerely, Dani
It's a lettre... It counts or it's just for rating? if it's for rating I should just give that what I gave you.... if it's counting you will get like a 6/7 for that lettre so ain't that worse ^^
E: Just give that what monstah said :> He's better at German I see xD
it doesn't count at all it's just a crappy thingy
to monstah
this is my second year, but during the first year we had a very bad teacher so at the 4 season we finally got a new one and we learned more in one day than we learned in the past 270 days. the original teacher was very nice, but she just didn't know how to teach people things. and ther were two bitchy girls in my class who never ever stopped talking during the lessons so she was allways mad at them in the end they made her quit the job :(
i've got yet another gay assignment, someone check it for me plz -.-
if possible explain me how the stupid grammar works
Duits opdracht 16
Der kleiner Stadt wo ich lebe ist in der Osten von die Niederlanden.
Ich bin da nicht geboren.
Es Gibt genug Geschäfte; ich kaufe meinem Kleidung zur Dukenburg.
Im Freizeit kannst du im Nijmegen nach der Kino gehen.
Du kannst auch Kano fahren im Nijmegen, oder skaten im Skatepark.
Einer Nachteil ist: das er viel schlechte Radfahrers sind.
Aber es gibt mehr vorteilen… du kannst das ofentlicher nahverkehr brauchen.
Und du kannst auch laufen, oder mit das Auto.
Es gefallt mir am besten, das dort drei Krankenhäuser sind.
Darum wohnen wir am liebsten in einer stadt.
Die kleine Stadt, in der ich lebe, ist im Osten der Niederlande.
poehalcho wrote:
Not really wrong but I would rather say "Ich bin dort nicht geboren".
poehalcho wrote:
"meine Kleidung"
I don't know about Dukenburg. Is it a town? Then you would say "in Dukenburg".
poehalcho wrote:
In deiner Freizeit kannst du in Nijmegen ins Kino gehen.
poehalcho wrote:
poehalcho wrote:
I don't really understand this. You must say "Ein Nachteil ist, dass.."
and the other part would mean: "that he are many bad cyclist" 0_0
You could say "dass er ein schlechter Radfahrer ist" (that he is a bad cyclist) or "dass sie schlechte Radfahrer sind" (that they are bad cyclists ) or "dass es dort viele schlechte Radfahrer gibt" (that there are many bad cyclists).
poehalcho wrote:
"Aber es gibt viele(many) Vorteile... du kannst den öffentlichen Nahverkehr benutzen(use)."
poehalcho wrote:
"Du kannst auch laufen oder mit dem Auto fahren."
mit dem Auto fahren = go by car / drive
poehalcho wrote:
Am besten gefällt mir, dass dort drei Krankenhäuser sind.
poehalcho wrote:
That is correct. You could also say "Darum wohnen wir gerne(we like to live) in der(the) Stadt"
I hope I could help you. I'm german so there may be some mistakes in my english text. ;)
