Yes Rai you do sound like a dick.....slavery was all that bad and more. They used to torture the slaves in ways you've never heard of and would SHRUDDER to think about it happening to you. And slavery wasn't a physical state which I'm sure you're thinking it is it's a mental state(ask me if you want me to explain)

The slave trade started off the way you describe it barotix but that was a short lived beginning and eventually they stopped trading with Africans and just started raiding....i think some teachers may blow the "they did it to themselves" thing out of proportion.
