*************WIZARD*[GUIDE]*************
Table of Contents:

1 Your job/build
2 Your spells
3 leveling and SP farming

************Your job in groups and build************
your build can be either pure int or int this depends on if you want to be good, simply:
pure int=good

anything str based with wizard is a bad idea

your job in party and solo is kill what your killing before it gets to you.As a
wizard you do large damage with the cost of no hp so simply kill it fast.

************Spells************

I KNOW ALL SPELLS ARE NOT SHOWN

Natural Spirit Series

ALL of the Natural Spirit Series are recommended:
They all add a % mag attack to their elemental attack. They increase 4% more for each level

Force Mentalist Series
ALL of the Force Mentalist Series are recommended:

Book1: makes all spell cost less eg. say it cost 100mp to cast nuke with this its only 97 next lvl 95 next 93 next 91etc

Book2: for half your hp your mag atk increase lots very useful to kill things that you can't quite one hit

Book3: increases your spell range this means you can get two nukes of before the target is hiting you rather than 1(just example)

Book4: same as book 2
NOTE book 4 is not on the image

Earth Mentalist Series

Book1:not worth it imo

Book2:not worth it imo

Book3:max great spell its high damage and ranged area of effect

Book4:max very good for solo because gives damage absorption 30% to and 4% per level only lasts 20 seconds but still good spell to have, Its also good in party.

Books 1-2-3-4 are the same as books 5-6-7-8 but there stronger better versions max only 7-8

summary max books 3-4 and 7-8

Cold Mentalist Series

Book1:max ice nuke it dose good damage and chance to freeze

Book2:not worth it imo

Book3:same as earth book3 but less damage and chance to freeze

Book4:Invisible MAX

Books 1-2-3-4 are the same as books 5-6-7-8 but there stronger better versions max only 5-7-8

summary max books 1-3-4-5-7-8

Fire Mentalist Series

Book1 max fire nuke highest damage of the 4 book nukes and can burn

Book2 not worth it imo

Book3 not worth it (can put points in just to play with its not that great imo)

Book4 imo its not worth it but other guides use it so it you choice

Books 1-2-3-4 are the same as books 5-6-7-8 but there stronger better versions (book 5 is small aoe i think)
max only 5-maybe 7 (i only leveled books 1 and 5)

summary max 1-5 imo

Lightning Mentalist Series

Book1 not worth it imo

Book2 max this its great for get that one attacker off you (puts fear on them)

Book3 level but dont have to max because its still great at all levels it pushes back enemys all around you 6 times

Book4 Teleport MAX

Books 1-2-3-4 are the same as books 5-6-7-8 but there stronger better versions only max 6-8 level 7 if you want.

Summary max 2-4-6-8 and level 3 and 7 if you want.

************Leveling and Sp farming************

leveling at lower levels is relay easy you do high damage and you can kill most thing higher than you
(1-5levels higher)as long as you kill things one at time and heal you wont die at all

ok as wizard your spell come in groups so you get the sp as you level (dont level mastery until the level you get to level nukes etc)
if you know how much sp you need at each group you can work out how much each level so just make sure you have the write amount eg by
level 30 from level 20 i need 3400 sp so each level i need 340 so each level i whould aim to have around 400 sp.

******************NOTES******************
1 i know my spelling is not great so plz tell me where to improve
2 this how i believe you should build a wizard its completely your own choice how to build a wizard (please tell me how this could be better)
3 the jobbing section isn't added because i would like some feed back on each job
4 this isn't finished and i only put a hour or so in to this so plz post advise

okay i'll tell u my opinion
u sais that no need for much skillz but i think that this is wrong
all skillz in the wizard are usefull expect mana drain
with lighting and earth first book u can easily take 2 mobs with to hits by light nuke first then earth .
and the root is as useful as fear cuz u first cast root and nuke then when root ends u cast fear when ur enemy is coming.
and solo playing is nothing beside the party playing ..cuz with a full arranged party u can level much faster.
:banghead: sry but i want to tell u my opinion truthfully , this guide needs some fix.
but anyway thx for ur efforts :roll:

i am wizard lvl60 and know 1 thing in lightning mastery only thing you must open is lightning shock forget others and in earth dont open root or first book (dont remember name) and dont open trap or detect or teleport these are useless(your char dont teleport to the place you want :S) and fight with mag. attack monsters (look in silkroadonline.net) they cannot harm you i am lvl60 and lvl58 sonars attack me 50-55 and sometimes 8-10 lol :wink: 8)

Ehm.... it will teleport to place where your mouse pointer is ....
so you press the skill (with keyboard 0-1-2-3... button) and hold mouse pointer where you want to teleport ... worked fine with me

lol you just dont know how to use it properly :D
same with ghost phantom whatever lightning chinese skill .. just look in the direction you want to teleport :wink:

i've seen better guides...
flamethrower is really useful in party play, it actually gives most damage (over time) because of the slow casting (and cooldowns) of fire and earth nukes....

DON'T GO STR 1 INT 2 (EVEN IF YOU SOLO ALOT) CAUSE A WIZARD IS USELESS IF IT'S THAT HYBRID just go pure int :wink:


[list=]book 4 earth isnt really usefull...
book 4 fire is useful when jobbing in euroland to detect jobbing rogues / wizards
book 3 lightning forget that one.. mobs shouldnt be near you.. usually group of agro mobs near you = dead.. if they come too close i usually use teleport to escape[/list]

rest = agree

overall.. add some more images and make some nice layout :) [/list]
