is it possible for someone to rez at the same spot they died, without someone casting rez?

I'm seeing these two people dieing and rezing where they died, but when i rez i go all the way back to constantinople

1) they are lower then lv 10
2)they have capes

how does the cape thing work cuase when i wear a black cape and i die, i don't rez

After you die, a little box should pop up.
When you're wearing a cape, click on the option that you normally don't click on - I believe it says, "Ressurect at the present point".

cept when u get killed by a mob, it doesnt work

I thought it was level 20? and yeah, prolly capes

Haven't played SRO in a while, but I'm guessing that, like Firemouse said, capes, or... IIRC, you can buy Res scrolls from the Item Mall. Resses you on the spot.

If memory serves, I think Res scrolls are part of the reward for a Quest in the early 30s (Lachrymal Birthday Present?), although you only get a couple and they have a reduction in the amout of exp you lose.
Other than that, like rdphoeniXexe says, from the Item Mall.

indeed..also when you wear a cape and you get killed by someone else wearing a cape you can res on the spot..if you get killed by someone without cape you cant (PK) or when you get killed by a mob you cant stand up too

or be lvl 10 or lower

you can buy ress scrolls from item mall i believe...

Since euro update...if you die when under level 20, you rez to Const. then go to the guide npc on the north side of the fountain. One choice will be to return to where you died...very handy.
