No class is bad for hunting uniques. You just have to work in a team to get it.

HOWEVER, if the circumstances were exactly the same (which they never were, never are, and never will be) a wizard will get the kill, if he doesn't die first.
Second has to be a tie between rogue (regardless of weapon), pure int nuker, and 80:80 bow.

You have to be opportunistic to get unique kills. Even a pure int euro cleric only mastery could get the kill, should s/he say find yarkan ambling by himself after a spawn, and somehow no one is there. You could use your wolf to drag and get yarkan stuck. In that scenario, any build can get the kill, though it is rare.
Strong range attacks means your char can deal continuous damage without dealing with the spawns.

well thing is..w/ lock if I use those lowering of physical/magical defense i'm boosting everyone else's dmg which in turn will lower mine in the end....i think i'm going to give up on that class combined w/ the fact that their rods die quicker than any other class.

Full Sun ______ with a Sun +_____ weapon... Like a full sun nuker or a full sun rogue. Wait can rogues have full sun? Cause this new event gave euro's sun items or something.

Yeah. Even though it's cool I'm surprised it hasn't been taken down by the mods :p
On topic:
Well it depends if you kill lower level uniques or same level uniques.
Lower level uniques would be pure INT wizard, spear, anything like that, or rogue. Same level I'd say STR bow / rogue. Maybe hybrid INT with snow shield, they can get quite mobbed too before dying.

Not sure, I havn't seen a warlock hunt a unique, but I've seen it kill a giant of its same level. It was fast, but any other INT class that survives could do the job (as) fast too. For same level uniques it might deal quite some damage over time but you'll have to survive as pure INT with pot delay + same level spawns unless you're in a good party you'd die very very quick I think..

You sir, Are completely wrong. BLADER is very bad for hunting uniques! And why? The uniques cannot be stabbed, then the blader only have chains as a few more skills to use in uniques. No stabs in a blader = easily ksed.

the build that deals most damage. But I think it all comes down on gear, if there is a sun glaive versus regular +3 xbow or something there is a big chance the glaiver gets it, so its not just the build that decides who gets the kill.
