I understand that you can have a total of 300 mastery levels, but what about individual skill levels? Do they have any effect on that limit? If not, then would it not be logical to max out every skill within a particular skill tree up to that mastery level, assuming you had farmed sufficient skill points?

Skills don't add to the mastery sum, and yeah, it would be logical to max 'em all, but some are too useless. Sometimes it's just a waste.

no there isnt and omfg, that would take forever. half of them are useless anyways so the question is dear god, why?

Alright, yeah I understand a bunch of them are useless but I was just making sure that I wasn't screwing myself over by getting the first level of some interesting skills. Thanks for the info!
