					| Whenever I start SilkRoad, the following message pops up: "The server is undergoing inspection or updates. Connect to http://silkroadonline.net for more information." If there are any updates or patches, I would like to know where to download them. I can't contact technical support or post on their forums since I haven't been able to even make a character in-game. When I press OK on that message, the launcher pops up, and I'm guessing there should be something in the box to the left, like a server or something, but there isn't. So I can't enter the game. Also, I'd like to know what ports and websites SilkRoad uses to connect. This would be a big help for me, I'm anxious to start playing. Thanks in advance, Bovjoker

					| truez, nope this is my first time.
cpinney, i have tried that it doesn't seem to work. I use AVG and i don't think it blocks anything, i disabled it anyways to try, but it didn't work. I'd understand if i was using Norton because it stops you every time you try to do something.

Can anyone else give me some advice as to what to do?

Ok lets c, u disabled ur ANTIVIRUS, but how abt ur FIREWALL ?? Go to Start > Control Panel > Windows FIREWALL turn it to OFF ... Have u done tis? BYW, in most of the posts in technical help, i c ur posting for PORTS being used by SRO, why wuld u need that??Have u tried this? C:/WINDOWS/System32/drivers/etc/ and open hosts file in notepad and add this to the end of the file like this:

 127.0.0.1 localhost
 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com

					| Windows Firewall is off i have never ever turned it on.
And as for ports, i'm just guessing cause most MMOs need access to ports and websites.

and yes i have tried that thing in notepad it says "Access is denied"
