Heroo, when you look carefully at the URL, banner, multiple forums of this board.

Are you able to find the link between this forum and the actual game?

If you can, you have passed first grade, and your next assignment will be to write an essay about how wrong your last post was. A botting mod, on a forum of silkroad? get some sleep.

ooh Priam, where would the world be without you?

i agree with you about that mod thingy, but there's no need for ban. You talking like these people are really fcuking up your life, calm down lol. SRO ISN'T your life, although some people sometimes get confused.

this forum isn't the game. someone that bots still can be nice and helpful to this forum.

Heroo, does a random act of killing from the opposite side of the world effect you?

yes, it makes me feel sad that someone is getting killed for no reason. the person should be PUNSIHED. but this is exactly what i'm talking about: rofl you're comparing some murderer with a botter? ROFL, take it easy: THIS IS STILL A GAME!

You're being superficial. It's the thought, the feel. When someone is cheating in a suppose fair environment, what's the reaction?

When you cheat, you're doing some bad. The actions you show are the given judgment towards said person. Do bad, you are bad. Though, people are able to redeem. Even a murderer can redeem himself. That in a nutshell is part of human nature; able to change.

Dudes, if they ban the "bad" botters then they have to ban the "good" botters.

Or do you want them to play favorites?

Example?

Anyway since you probably won't reply before I'm out:

If they are playing favorites already then what's the problem for you? They aren't picking the right favorites? lol.

Your point, from my perspective, was that bots shouldn't be punish if they do no harm to you. No harm, no foul, right? No. They do wrong, they are to be punished. Though, they are able to change. But, if the administrators wish to give no remorse or mercy, that's their doing, their way.

If I were to give a suggestion, I'd say punish the wrong, but rehabilitate those who wish to change.

no the real question is:
WHAT THE **** CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?
In fact its even not a questions, theres no debate. Don't throw the 'dont be afraid to say what you think' shit at me, because when you sign up for a private forum your every right is granted by admins. They can choose to suddenly make everyone unable to post and no one can do anything about it.
We have no say in this really, admin are so determined they've banned long time members and mods. You think what we say we make a change?

So why don't we all just enjoy the drama while it lasts. Then maybe we'll all leave and find some where else. I'm sure helpful members like Luoma's presence will be welcomed in other forums, they've got no need to beg to come back here.

If you really feel the need to influence or make a change, do it in your local community where you actually have rights or at least can struggle for your rights.

You see it all too negative. You can see it has a redemption of SRF. I think I'm sounding weird after saying redemption a lot.

I'm sure the administrators listen, they're humans too, after all.

I asked that people like Luoma needs to be unbanned
"It's not about favourites, it's not like they still bot. Every1 makes mistakes, in fact theres no chance that they still bot because they quitted."

If you really think asking will make a change, why not pm SG yourself now.

I'll take your word for it. Though, like I said before, people change. They can change their mind. If there's a will, there's a way.

Yes, it's a mess right now, and that is to be expected, but it will get cleaned up in time.

Couldnt agree with u more.
I think SRF is depressed about how JM doesnt ban them, so they try to compensate their mixed up feelings with "banning" them on the forums. But thats just my personal opinion. Not trying to say this is a bad initiative. Altough the forums would be better off without it.

95% of the ppl banned from forums were people that admitted to botting.
then u have ppl saying it wasnt them, being sarcastic, saying they got their account hacked, etc and treatment and consequence is different for all. There is no equality shown thus far, some have more conclusive evidence than others and haven't been banned. Then you've got like 10 people jumping on ONE person because they KNOW they botted, but proof never seems to be enough. If you check the exposed botters list, theyre like no-names in these forums..cuz they really dont care thats why they came out and said 'yeah i botted'. Sylhana vs Luoma, not to be mean but sylhana seems in just as much guilt as luoma, yet one is still banned and the other isnt. Ito's chars been caught, instant ban even though it wasnt her on the char. The rest, came out and basically said 'i bot'. Crumps, Fly, NB, etc have scammed and been banned for botting, u've got like a handful of people jumpin at them in topics that get locked..why do they pounce on em like that? cuz theyre sure of it. Will they get banned? doubt it.

as for me im just gonna sit back cuz i cant really prove anything, i dont play on all servers and cant screenshot or fraps anything if theyre not on babel, and even then i WOULDNT submit it to ban someone here because its just not worth it. In-game, some of the coolest people are botters, there are awesome legits too, but i wouldn't do that to a fellow babel comrade..even if theyre in a guild i hate.

For the past year or so, people on these forums (whom will remain unnamed), have told me they bot. Other's have told me that they've asked someone for a bot, others have talked about it in vent, and word of mouth has just spread about SRF-ers that bot. I can tell you none of them have been banned yet through this 'Exposed Botters' thing, and they probably wont because as soon as one person who's a closet botter gets someone else banned, domino effect takes place.

personally, i wouldnt like to see any more people banned. It's just f*cking up these forums and the people that have been banned, aside from 1 or 2, they really dont do much here anyway.

i just had to get that out, if you read it thanks, if you didn't then no harm done.

Fudge, if you've read any of my previous posts, you know I agree with you. Some of my good friends in-game bot, some don't. And I could care less. I always get a kick (or get sick?) out of people who have a holier than thou mentality. I suppose it goes with the territory. The internet breeds this kind of bullshit

+1 besides what you said, it really is unnecessary to make a list of the "outcasts", cause 90% of the banned people no one knows and no one cares.

And whats really sad is that we all thought people like luoma or sylhana were good people (they even became mods), but since they botted they are gone, its too bad, but I suppose botters should be not allowed here

who came up with the idea of the exposed botters forum? I didn't know anything about until yesterday. I think we should have discussed it more.

OT: Yeah all this section does is:
1. Lose good members
2. Cause members who dont care to spam one last time. The ones get banned get satisfaction in this imo, so ur making botters happy in one way :banghead:

exactly, and i think you shouldn't ban someone for once have botted like over a year ago :?

some poeple quitted the game in the mean while and are still only active on the forum, no need for a ban imo.

I don't see why everyone gets their panties in a bunch because of this section. It's quite simple really, don't cheat, and you won't get scammed.

Saying botter contribute to the community just as much as anyone may be true, but an all legit community is better. Simple example to prove that. Compare the community of a jail with a nice suburban community... No matter how nice the people in jail are, they are still inclined to lie cheat, steal, etc... Lies, although entertaining aren't something one would call a feature of a great community.

Let's face it, cheaters like to show off even if they don't deserve it...for example, Juey spammed like mad about his rogue that got powerleveled to 64+...really wasn't that great. IowU (and I even like that person) was talking smack about his rogue that was plvled to like 72...(even if he backed it up in his vids, he still didn't make it to 80 the right way). I don't even know BF and I assume 6.5k post count = spam in one way or another..even old mods have less...even smurf had less at that time...and that says alot.

I hope to see less "I am so great" posts now that botters are gone, because legits obviously care less about being the best, although we often are better.
