I was bored today and went through media to find some maps for an application when I ran into a file named map_fort_bijuckdan.ddj. Well, the map looks like this:
Anyone has a clue what fortress this could be? o_O
PS: If this is old information, just lock it.

Is Bandit Den, kSRO already has it. But does anybody even do Special Goods trades?
Even if they did special goods just because its 20% loss of profit they'll avoid trading from there like Jang.(I am honestly ganna say if someone expects to make some decent amount of gold from the bandit's den.. you must be really really high)
Putting it at -20% or 20% wouldn't make a difference. Only that you wouldn't make 10 mil. *GASP* It'll only be useful for making lizards/behemoths.

This is my guess but i think you get the money from the Ferry's perhaps? I'm not too sure though but that is what i was thinking for quite some time.
I´m pretty sure u get the money from ferrys, so players wanting to teleport at the jangan ferrys have to pay 600 gold, but i dont think u will earn much money just from 100 gold per teleport...
And yeah, Hotan fortress will be terrible lol

Yes in CSRO we have this fort at the Bandit Den, so now you need to pay 600 to go by ferry from Jangan to Dw, but not the other way around (!) , and also the special trader has taxes now ...
I think holding this fort is more of a way to gain prestige for a guild that isnt strong enough to take the Jangan Fort, since that last fort is extremely important now (with all the lvl80+ people in Jangan buying pots because of the Jangan Tomb)
Hotan fort would be terrible. Owner would make like 100b though.
But maybe they dont get that high taxes from hotan fortress
I think the same tax-values are available in all fort-cities.
Probably not, because 20% of 990 gold (level 1 blade) is 198 gold, with a total prize of 1188 gold. For beginners it might be huge, but it's not really. Now image in hotan, where a NPC blade costs about 400k if I'm right (6D). That's, with the 20% more, 480k total. Or a 9D weapon, even more. Owning that fortress is just... well... INSANE. Plus, it's the central point of Silkroad, every race will land once there.
Just my thought about it... the tax rate might be at most 5%, but that 5% will be still MORE than the 20% in Jangan.

Don´t forget Reapiring and teleporting... Well, u can repair ur items in another town, too, but everyone need to teleport sometime. Some ppl teleport more than 5 times a day, and each time the owner guild will gain 1k. This doesn´t sound much, but with that mass of players teleporting each day, the money will really be INSANE like u said.

Well, since Jangan gets xlarge pots and things when 100-cap comes, its very likely that hotan and all other cities will have a -20% to +20% tax.
the one who controls this fort will know the meaning of being rich lol.
lol hardly i bet it'd net gain like 5m a week max, it taxes special trade goods and the ferries, so few people go thru these areas these days, not many use the ferries like the used to, and traders are almsot oblivious to special goods

This will be really something for lower levels... I'm hunting uniques a lot and I barely go over any ferry at all, just in some cases. And gold bots don't go over ferries, either... This fortress will be just for power show off, nothing more.
