It reduces the chance that their attack will be blocked.

Question: Does it work against bloody wolf fan storm?

Errr... who said that it reduces the block ratio of others?

I saw someone saying that, but I think he pulled that out of his ***. Any1 have proof that it even works?

it doesnt reduce THEIR block ratio, but it increses the chances of your attack not being blocked...

Whatever. The final effect is the same, no matter how you word it, but I repeat:

'Where's the proof of it? Who said that except a player trying to bag a few millions seeling a two handed weapon with a maybe useless (for a 2 hander) stat?'

i still would liike to see something that at least supports the theory. all i've heard so far is that a bunch of people say that's what it does.

well, guess what? a bunch of people say that trader level ups the goods you can carry for one star, which it doesn't(straight from joymax). alot of people say that the million dollar thief suit makes you invisible on radar, which it doesn't(straight from joymax).

so just because a bunch of people said it doesn't make it true. in fact, it seems like that makes it -less- true most times. although i DO agree that the theory makes sense, until i see at least SOME kind of evidence, i'm not going to waste time and gold with it.

Keep in mind that something like this cannot be easily tested. Especially when it deals with something like blocks, which rely on probability. You can never definitively tell when a block is going to happen, and so you don't know if it really works. If it does, you'd still have a hard time getting any evidence, because you don't know if any given hit was supposed to be blocked, but was instead let through because of this stat. And now a question: Why would Joymax implement something useless for people to just waste their gold on? GG

good question. but i NEVER said that it was useless. i just said that there's no proof that THAT'S what it does. and there isn't. not only that, but there's not even evidence at all. i also said that the theory DOES make sense.

but really, as for your actual question...... well, there are job levels that aren't implemented yet. though you don't need to waste gold on it, it IS useless. there are also expensive job suits, which do nothing, which ARE a waste of gold. not to mention that a while back steady/immortal/lucky/etc weren't implemented, but they still showed up in game.

and it can be tested, somewhat easily. buy 2 NPC weapons, put the block stone on one. that way you have two weapons exactly like each other except for that stat. then go find someone to test it on(preferably a willing subject). hit them about 200 times. take note of the number of blocks, and do the same with the other weapon. it would be best if the block% on the weapon was high, not like 10%, that way it would be more noticeable.

if out of 200 hits, there was a -significant- difference with a 50% weapon, then i'd say yea, it works. if there was a measly difference that could be explained away by probability, then i'd have to say it doesn't work.

obviously, the more hits and the higher % the more accurate the test, but it's not like this is impossible to do. you'd just have to find two people at a decent level that were so bored of grinding that they'd do it.

and finally........ i'm not saying that that's not what it does. i'm just saying i'm not going to waste a bunch of time and gold looking for the stat until i know for sure what it does.
