Er...even with the connecting problem people are having since mid-September, the servers are still way over-crowded.

That's what they keep telling us. *sigh*

Personly i couldn't care less about upgrading the servers *IF* they make a system so that you can take your player from one server to another and his or hers stuff. Then i couldn't care less, but seeing as they prob haven't had the intelect to do that then all i can say is have patients.........

Why must we be the only people who can think of these things. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I'm sure that they have a good reason behind it... It would probably lagg up the servers even more, and they would have to have one HUGE database for all of the characters, which would increase the loading time because all of the traffic. Although they probably are smart enough to think of a solution to all of that........ Those are just my ideas of why.

Given the cost of bandwidth (In the US it is roughly $45-$105 per MB of transferred data), and the ammount of people who are connecting to a live server with as big a database and mapsize as this game has...I would guess they are barely breaking even at this point, even with the silk sales.

Let me use a tired phrase from my DOD days. This is a free game (unless you choose to buy silk). Quit griping and just play.

I would think since they signed with yahoo that they're getting a bargin for the bandwith and BTW it does NOT cost $45-$105 per MB, unless you're a retard to sign that kind of deal.

For the record, I am referring to "Sustained Bandwidth" not Metered.

It wont matter how many servers Joymax opens.

Bots are crowding the servers, thats what creates the lag. As soon as a new server opens, the botters figure out a way to get one or multiple characters running on that server.

Getting rid of the botters would equal getting rid of most of the lag.

Joymax really needs to find a way to solve the botting issue before wasting time and money on new servers. GameGuard isn't enough.

In Babel, some people take the matter on their own hands to get rid of bots. One such move is the mass thief spawn event that happened a few days ago. High level traders would spawn npc thieves on botters. :D

.......by making more servers they are trying to help us loosen up the servers but apparently thats not working

and if they try to increase the capacity of the server then it will be way more laggy than it is now
