So what's the difference between Invisibility and Stealth?

Is it two different things? or is it jsut the same?

maybe rogues can fill us in on this one.

Is it useful in pvp or pve?

what do you guys think?

They essentially do the same thing - hide the user, but they both require a different method of detection. They are both useful, because having that extra couple seconds because of a surprise attack can mean the difference between life and death.

Invisibility makes the whole party invisible, whilst stealth makes only the player invisible.

Isn't it only the level 80 invisibility skill that turns the whole party invisible?

then is it important for Fire users to max both the detect skill?

Does Stealth and INvisibility work on mobs? as in the mobs can't see you when you are in stealth?

Yes, it would be a good skill to max for people who use the fire force. As far as I know, mobs don't detect you when you are stealthed, but I think they don't detect you when you are invisible either.

do the fire 'detection' skills work like a buff, I dont really get that because I used them and got this long cool-down timer going but no buff icon shows up. How do you know if it's working and can someone in stealth tell if you have it activated?

Am not sure how it works, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think when you use it any stealth or invisible player within your range gets the effect (like a status) and they can't go to stealth or be invisible while in effect (if the stealth or invisible detection was high enough).

Yes you can move when you are invisible.
Only your party can see you when you are invisible though..
Monsters don't attack when you use that skill, which is cool 8)
Rogue = Stealth // Wizard = Invisibilty

yea monsters never see you and in pvp um rouge has a skill that does more phy in stealth mode so u get to do 1 attack with extra damage then just do your normal 1,2,3 key xD also its cool that when you use stealth in pvp u dont get hit by light nuke or fire wide the ice nuke wide so i like it cause usually when i dont use stealth lvl 80 ppl just pick on me now they cant see me i just run around and wacth them fight with out dieing =]

i think invisibilty should be removed when doing jobs. whenever im out being a thief or a hunter, a thief/hunter comes from no where and takes me out in 2 hits with his damn crossbow! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: argh!! and im so damn jealous that my lvl 21 cousin came over for a week and we started to be hunters, he killed about 3 thieves and got 47% hunter exp!!! is that even possible?

Stealth Works great for PvP. In jobbing, it does wonders.

Invisiblity works good too. They are the same i think, i dont got a wiz so im not to sure.

Stealth, has one downfall, and that is that you cannot move very fast, and if you use a skill you unstealth.

Happened to me too
I was trading with my guild. I knew there was a euro thief in stealth following us because he appeared and disappeared fast again. One time i just was waiting him up and when he appeared he did wait a bit too long to disappear again and boom shout. he was dead
